3. Seller's Checklist:-
Use this checklist as your guide as you prepare to list your item.
a) Carefully inspect the materials and the description and grade of the materials.
b) Take pictures of the item. Pictures tell a thousand words. You will boost sales by displaying your item with pictures. A good picture also enables potential buyers to see exactly what they are buying. Be sure to take photos of any flaws or defects. Take photos from different angles. - You can attach a photograph to your listing in a number of ways. By taking a digital photograph of it and attaching it on the Post Offer Page or you can send it separately on email at offers@worldofsteel.com with reference to the posted materials. Or send the complete offer with pictures and we will post for you on the website.
c) Write a description for your listing. Select the correct category. Is it Long Steel or Flat Steel? Select the correct steel type. Description must be detailed and very transparent. In the description, describe the item clearly, accurately, and completely. Include any keywords buyers might use to search for the item. Include information about the condition, origin, specification range, mode of packing, port of shipment, mode of shipment. Attach a detailed packing list if the materials are assorted. Be sure to proofread and spell-check both the title and the description. Misspelled words cannot be searched properly. Before posting check whether your description has all the information a buyer would want to know about your product.
d) Consider weighing your materials before shipment to avoid short weight claims. Consider the weight difference between gross weight and nett weight. Often the actual packing weight is higher than the actual goss weight resulting in weight claims.
e) Price your materials realistically. Try to offer competitive price to the extent possible. If you wish to sell to more than one port of destination, check the freights for each port. Buyers get antagonized if the C&F Price changes once they have responded and it can kill a potential sale.
f) State payment options clearly Specify the payment methods you will accept such sight LC, usance LC, part advance, Documents against payment through bank.
g). If you are a new seller on World Of Steel® , make sure you read the Terms of Use so you understand the role of World Of Steel® in the sale.
